Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes.

The Food Bank was founded in 1988 by several churches and the Foothills Community Foundation.
We provide emergency food to those who occasionally, must choose between groceries and keeping the utilities on. We serve Cave Creek and parts of the Northeast Valley. See "about us" for boundaries.
We are privately funded, and rely on the donations and kindness of others to keep our organization running. Both food and monetary donations are always needed.

A special thanks to our local schools and churches for their consistent support!

Bid On Our Tree!

The Parade of Lights, set for Friday Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. on Easy Street, will deliver Santa on a vintage fire truck to the Amphitheatre, where “elves” will help children with Santa visits and photos.

Merchants will stay open until 9 p.m. on Thursday nights Thursday through Saturday of Festival weekend.

The Festival of Trees in the Los Portales Mall will serve as a silent auction of professionally decorated, artificial Christmas trees to benefit several local nonprofit organizations, including the Food Bank.

HOLIDAYS ARE A TIME FOR SHARING!

We are starting to collect holiday items for our families.

During this time of the year the Foothills Food Bank tries to make the holidays a little brighter for those that have fallen on hard times. You can help in this endeavor by donating turkeys and fixin’s, toiletries, toys for the children and even the bare necessities.

Our Hispanic neighbors use food other than the traditional sweet potatoes and turkey stuffing. They enjoy rice, corn, tortillas, and salsa with their turkey.

See "News/Events" for a list of sample dinners.

Thank you once again for your generosity! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Pam DiPietro at
