Becoming a Volunteer at the Foothills Food Bank

If you are interested in volunteering at the Foothills Food Bank, we would be happy to have you! We host volunteer training days the first and third Mondays of each February, June and October. The trainings will take place at 4 pm on these days at our food bank in Cave Creek.

**In order to attend one of these training days, you MUST register with us beforehand. You may do so by calling us or stopping by our facility.

Community Service Volunteers at the Foothills Food Bank

Community Service is for students who are required to earn hours for school requirements OR for individuals who have a court-ordered requirement.

*Please note that all students under 13 must be accompanied by an adult during their volunteer shifts. Both the student and his/her guardian must fill out volunteer applications at the Food Bank before they are eligible to work.

Community Service hours are generally available on Saturday mornings from 8:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.

To return the form to us you can:

Once your application is received, it will take 2 weeks to get you on the schedule.  Last-minute requests cannot be accommodated.  Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers must be able to lift 25 pounds and to be on their feet for 3 hours.

Work behavior standards must be followed each time you are in the Food Bank. Failure to do so will result in volunteer activities being terminated.
